If you are leaving UBC, we encourage you to contact the Pension Administration Office (PAO). We will arrange for you to receive either a termination or retirement package, whichever is applicable.
The information below is a review of your options and access to all the forms that are required for each termination/retirement option available. We have also included other information for members to consider when leaving UBC.
There are various tools available to help you in the retirement process, including guidance to complete the forms.
Once your employment ends with UBC, we will send you an information package explaining your options, detailing your current account balance, as well as an estimate of what your balance could be at age 65.

Reminder regarding Address changes
If you have funds in the Plan or are receiving a
retirement benefit, we will be sending you Member correspondence
regularly, so please ensure that your current address
is on file with us. You can do so in writing, or by email.

Should you become a non-resident of
Canada, there may be additional procedures to follow.
What happens if I am re-hired at
UBC?
If you are re-hired at UBC into an eligible position,
